• Noah represented a client facing up to life in prison for a rape charge. Client and alleged victim had a prior sexual relationship. After a grueling preliminary hearing in which Noah pointed out the lack of physical evidence to support the charge, and later pointing out the possible extorsion efforts by the purported victim, the case was resolved as a misdemeanor sexual battery with an agreement that our client would not serve any active period of incarceration. The client avoided a felony, avoided risking life in jail, and avoided having to register as a sex offender.
• Noah represented client in Newport News Circuit Court, which was an appeal of a contempt finding by the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court Judge.  After pleading not guilty, presentation of evidence and arguments of counsel, the Court agreed to a withhold finding.  Noah’s client was found guilty for a period of six (6) months.  At the expiration of that period the charge will be dismissed, without a finding of guilt.  This saved Noah’s client from the ten (10) day jail sentence imposed by the Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court.
