A drug bust has the potential to capture many people participating in crimes, but there’s also the possibility of arresting those who are innocent of any wrongdoing. Recently, there was a drug bust in Virginia. The drug investigation has led to 35 people being arrested or identified for arrest in Washington County, according to news from May 24. The 35 individuals now face 106 felony drug indictments.
Each of these individuals faces different charges, but on the whole, they include felony charges related to manufacturing and distributing drugs. Others include charges for carrying firearms and distributing methamphetamine and prescription medications.
In the above drug bust, 25 of 35 people have been arrested or located. The remaining 10 people have not yet been caught by the police. They’ve asked the public to assist.
In long investigations like this one, it’s normal for the police to identify crimes and then follow through on a drug bust all at once.
