Born in Ft. Rucker, Alabama, Barbara considers herself a true Army brat. After coming to Hampton Roads with her family as a child, she attended Hampton City Schools before doing her college course work. With her keen interest in the justice system forming at a young age, Barbara has been working in the legal field since 1984. Barbara has experience in the areas of family law, criminal law, estate planning & administration, and guardianship & conservatorship work. A true team player, Barbara enjoys collaborating with both her coworkers and clients, and she always embraces the opportunity to have interactions with other professionals we work with in our legal practice, from the clerks of court to other attorneys and their assistants. When Barbara is not working, she enjoys time spent on the deck with her husband, talking, laughing and enjoying a glass of wine. Barbara also treasures her family, spending as much time as she can with her three children, William, Phillip and Elizabeth, and her granddaughters, Rowan, Ellery, and Willa. Surrounded by her family in her off-time, there is never a dull moment!

Born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, Kyle is a Hampton Roads native. Kyle graduated from Menchville High School and attended Thomas Nelson Community College, where he was part of the Applied Sciences program in Paralegal Studies. While still in school, Kyle began working as a family law paralegal and was quickly drawn into the gauntlet of litigation. He never looked back! Kyle has been in the legal field for five years, and he has been with W&W since February 2018. Kyle loves immersing himself in the details of each client’s file, and he thrives on those moments when you discover the smallest piece of evidence that can totally change the direction of a case. Kyle loves to travel, is often scouring the internet to find that perfect house, and enjoys 20/20 and Dateline marathons. More than any of these, though, Kyle is our firm’s resident prankster, keeping the team on its toes.
